Flying Colors is a roastery for hire. Brands bring us their coffee, or their idea for coffee, and we roast it, bag it, and ship it out under their name. We've been doing it for 10+ years, and we've never sold a bag of our own. That's the whole idea.

Built for the small runs.
A lot of roasters won't take an order under a few thousand pounds. We'll start at twenty. So you can try a new blend, fill a fresh account, or top off a slow mover without getting stuck with coffee you can't move. Most orders are out the door in about a week.
We're not your competition.
Most co-packers roast their own label on the side, which means the folks filling your bags are also after your spot on the shelf. We don't work that way. There's no Flying Colors coffee at the store, and there never will be. Yours is the only coffee we're trying to sell.
We're in it with you.
We get to know your coffee the same way you do: the roast, the story, the people who drink it. For a lot of the brands we work with, we're the ones thinking about their coffee every day so they don't have to. Running a coffee company is plenty of work. The 'making it' part is on us.
We've been at this a while.
The folks on our floor have roasted here for 10+ years. Our team came up through some of the Midwest's biggest coffee names, buying green, running production, and getting brands onto grocery shelves. You won't be showing us the ropes. We already know them.

Minnesota is coffee country. The Twin Cities carry one of the deepest roasting cultures in the U.S., which means skilled hands nearby, steady green coffee supply-lines, and a cool, dry climate that treats fresh-roasted beans kindly.
Based in St. Louis Park, we're central to the country and close to home for Midwestern brands. Local partners can skip freight entirely and pick up in-person. Bring your own green, or lean on our buying experience to help source it.
